The other co-sponsor is Infineon Technologies, the well-known chip card and security supplier.

The OSPT Alliance is an international organization dedicated to the establishment of a universal standard for secure and effective transit ticketing systems. The one-day conference will focus on the flexibility and multi-application of CIPURSE in North & Latin America. CIPURSE is an open security standard, established by the OSPT Alliance, which is designed to standardize the technology used in automated fare collection systems via smart cards and sophisticated security measures.

A number of representatives from Americaneagle.com will be in attendance including, Norb Svanascini, founder of the company, Michael Svanascini, president & OSPT board member, Al Connelly, technical director and Chung Chung Tam, senior vice president & chair of OSPT’s North American sub-working group.

Americaneagle.com will be giving a presentation and demonstration of their fare payment solution that has been implemented by many transit agencies in North America.
